LIVING THE LANDSCAPE IN TOP CLASS
The area is located on the west side of a hill at Le Falle, whose summit is covered by a young forest of conifers and hardwoods; this complex of four houses overlooking the valley with a typical view of the hills that spreads from the eastward of Florence.
LIVING ARCHITECTURE IN TOP CLASS
The houses are characterized by an ecological coating stone-like, made with recycled material with high level of thermal insulation, which recalls the Tuscan tradition without environmental effects. The wood is used for cover and bleached to increase natural lighting inside, when exposed. The rooms have been designed for a maximum use and the windows have been dimensioned by the landscape, the solar gain and the natural lighting. Each unit is equipped with quality outdoor spaces and large areas of service.
LIVING IN TOP CLASS OF ENERGY CONSUMPTION
The houses have a reduced consumption in summer and winter, because they are well-insulated, but also equipped with thermal inertia; they have windows with low E double glazing and solar shading. They also come with solar panels to produce hot water and 4kW of photovoltaic panels to produce electricity. The annual cost for heating and hot water will be just 350 euros. |
